Participants compete within their designated age group. Age or grade is determined as of April 10, 2026.

Age Group & Team Registration Information
All games will be organized and played according to the following age groups:
- Grades 3–4
- Grades 5–6
- Grades 7–8
- Grades 9–10
- Grades 11–12
- Young Adults (18–25)
Please take note of the following important guidelines:
Team Category Selection
- Teams must register under the grade level of the oldest player on the team.
Minimum Team Requirement
- If there are fewer than four teams registered in a particular age category, that category will be merged with the next higher age group.
Play-in Draw
- If there are more than eight teams in a category, a play-in draw will be conducted.
Category Participation Rules
- A player from a lower age group may compete in a higher age category; however, a player from a higher age group is not allowed to compete in a lower category.
(Example: A Middle School player may join a High School team, but a High School player cannot join a Middle School team.)
Team Participation Restriction
- A player is not allowed to join more than one team within the same age category.
Schedule Conflict Responsibility
- If a player or team is registered in multiple team games and there is a schedule conflict, the organizers will not be responsible. The player or team must choose which game to participate in.
Player Eligibility
- The organizers reserve the right to verify the age or grade level of any player at any time. Any team providing incorrect information may be disqualified.
Team Roster Finalization
- Once registration is completed, no changes can be made to the team roster after the registration deadline.
Late Arrival / No-Show Rule
- Teams must be ready at their scheduled match time. A team that is more than 10 minutes late may be considered to have forfeited the match.
Fair Play & Conduct
- All players and teams are expected to maintain respectful and sportsmanlike behavior. Any misconduct may result in warnings, disqualification, or removal from the event.
Individual Competition Rules & Regulations
Please take note of the following guidelines for individual competitions:
Participation Limit
- Each participant may select a maximum of three (3) competitions.
Category Selection
- Participants must register according to their current grade/age group and cannot compete in a lower category.
Higher Category Participation
- Participants may choose to compete in a higher age category, but not in a lower one.
Late Arrival / No-Show Rule
- Participants must be present at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may be disqualified or may forfeit their turn.
Minimum Participant & Prize Policy
- If there are fewer than 10 participants in a category, there will not be a cash prize awarded.
Category Adjustment or Cancellation
- If there are fewer than 10 participants in a category, it may be merged with a higher age group or may be canceled.
Maximum Participant Handling
- If the number of participants exceeds the limit for a competition, qualification rounds or draws may be conducted.
Fair Play & Conduct
- All participants are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Misconduct may result in disqualification.
Judge / Organizer Decision
- All decisions made by judges and organizers are final.
Accuracy of Information
- The organizers reserve the right to verify participant information. Any incorrect details may result in disqualification.

All participants, coaches, and team members are expected to follow these general guidelines during every game and activity throughout the festival.
Punctuality
- Arrive at your assigned venue at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Late arrivals may result in forfeiture or disqualification at the referee's discretion.
Respect for Referees & Organizers
- Listen to and follow instructions from referees, judges, and event organizers at all times.
- All referee and organizer decisions are final.
- Arguing with or showing disrespect toward officials may result in penalties or removal from the game.
Fair Play
- Play honestly and within the rules of each sport.
- Cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, or intentional rule-breaking will result in disqualification.
- Win or lose with grace — congratulate opponents after every match.
Equipment & Facilities
- Use only the equipment provided or approved by the organizers.
- Treat all equipment, fields, and facilities with care.
- Report any damaged or unsafe equipment to the nearest volunteer or staff member immediately.
Teamwork & Respect
- Encourage and support your teammates and opponents alike.
- No trash-talking, taunting, or intimidating behavior.
- Respect players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
Safety First
- Follow all safety guidelines specific to each sport (detailed in the Game Rules PDF).
- Wear required protective gear where applicable.
- Report any injuries or safety concerns immediately to event staff.
Code of Conduct
Youth Sport Festival is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for participants of all ages. All athletes, players, coaches, volunteers, officials, and attendees agree to abide by the following standards. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event or cancellation of participation.

Youth Sport Festival is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and safe experience for everyone regardless of age, gender, culture, faith, disability, or background. All participants are expected to help maintain this environment.
Expected Behavior
All participants are expected to:
- Be respectful, understanding, and open to cooperation.
- Treat other participants, officials, and spectators with kindness.
- Refrain from discriminatory, demeaning, or offensive language and behavior.
- Take care of playing areas, facilities, and equipment.
- Report any safety concerns to the organizing team immediately.
- Dress appropriately for the event venue and family-friendly environment.
- Respect referee and organizer decisions at all times.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Physical, verbal, or written harassment, threats, bullying, or intimidation.
- Discriminatory, demeaning, or hateful language and behavior.
- Fighting, aggressive conduct, or provocation.
- Deliberately disrupting the order of the event.
- Inappropriate physical contact.
- Possession of alcohol, illegal substances, or dangerous objects.
- Damaging facilities, equipment, or other people's belongings.
Consequences
Violations of this code will not be tolerated. The Youth Sport Festival organizing team reserves the right to take the following actions as needed:
- Issuing a formal warning.
- Temporary or permanent removal from the event.
- Banning participation from future events.
Spectator Code of Conduct
Seyirci Davranış Kuralları
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, referees, and families, all spectators are expected to follow these guidelines during the tournament:
- Please support players positively and encourage good sportsmanship.
- Negative comments, shouting at referees, players, or opposing teams are not allowed.
- Insults, offensive language, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Spectators must remain outside the playing field and designated areas at all times.
- Please respect referees' decisions. Referees' calls are final.
- If any spectator displays unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior, tournament staff may issue a warning and ask the individual to leave the event area if necessary.

Liability Waiver & Release
By registering for or participating in Youth Sport Festival, you agree to the following terms.
Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that sports events inherently carry risks of physical injury, harm, or, in rare cases, more serious consequences. These risks include running, jumping, collisions, falls, equipment use, weather conditions, and interaction with other participants. I knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks and assume full responsibility.
Release of Liability
In consideration of my participation in Youth Sport Festival, I fully release and discharge the Youth Sport Festival organization, event venues, directors, volunteers, staff, officials, and partners from any claims, damages, or legal liability arising from my participation, including:
- Physical injury
- Property damage
- Health issues
- Death
Health Confirmation
I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the events I have registered for. If I have any condition that may affect participation, I accept responsibility for managing it appropriately.
Indemnification
I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Youth Sport Festival and all related parties from any claims, expenses, damages, or legal proceedings that may arise as a result of my participation.
Media Release
I acknowledge that photographs or video recordings may be taken during the event. I grant permission for these images to be used by Youth Sport Festival for promotional, social media, and informational purposes.
